A Life of BS is getting ready to be different. How different you ask, well hopefully somewhere in the size of 7 lbs different. No, we are not getting a small dog or cat. We are having a baby! The estimated due date is 9/24/11. Yes, this means I have been pregnant for a long time, in fact today I am 28 weeks and 2 days (which means I have 3 months left for you non parent or pregnancy knowledgeable readers).
I have been meaning to blog this for awhile. At first, I wanted to wait to a safe time to announce and then thought I would wait until I had the major ultra sound (u/s) and could share a picture. The first u/s was at 20 weeks and apparently our child is stubborn (I know, shocking!) and wouldn't cooperate with the tech. However, this did mean I got another u/s at 24 weeks. The last 4 weeks have been a roller caster and I am just going to blame it on that and pregnancy brain that this hasn't been done until now.
Maybe I will get adventurous and blog about the trials of pregnancy or maybe you won't hear from me again until I have a newborn pic to show you, with me, you never know. In the mean time,here is a ultrasound with a barely detectable profile from the 24 week ultrasound.
